Is an anti-psychotic someone who discriminates against Charles Manson and Hannibal Lecter?
But I digress…
1) Here is the latest flu map. We’re in good shape so far.
2) The post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) is a long-term complication of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) that is characterized by chronic, persistent pain, swelling and other signs in the affected limb. This study shows us how prevalent this syndrome is. The older you are, the fatter you are, and the higher the initial clot were all good predictors of PTS.
3) This is a NY Times article denouncing the practice of over-prescribing anti-psychotics to kids. A panel of experts are frustrated by this state of affairs.
4) There is a recall of acne cream because of bacterial contamination.
5) Some people who are vain enough to get their wrinkles filled are at risk for some adverse reactions such as loss of control facial muscles, disfigurement and rare life-threatening allergic reactions. Oh well, at least you’ll look good in the casket.
